Searching by name

Find the detailed year-by-year voting record of a Member of Congress via the scrollable text box.

Just select a name and click the Search button.

The site shows votes for as long as the member has been in the House. The first of the three colored columns shows whether the member cast a Yes vote or No vote. If the member was absent, that will show up as well. Absences on close votes are counted. The second column all in green displays what the progressive position on that vote was, and the third column shows if the progressives' cause won or lost on that particular vote.

Score page

On the score page the information is organized by Member rank, Progressive score, Member name, Chamber of Congress, Party, and State; to sort the data, click on the corresponding column heading. The blue arrow indicates whether the sort is in ascending or descending order. You can drill to see scores down to the issue subcategory level.
